Grattis Apple - Steve Jobs är tillbaka på jobbet
Den mest bevakade chefen i hela teknikvärlden är nu tillbaka på jobbet enligt Apples sagesperson. Vi lyckönskar Apple till detta.
Apple: ‘Steve Jobs is back to work’
Technology’s most closely watched chief executive is officially back on the job, according to an Apple (AAPL) spokesman.
“Steve Jobs is back to work,” chief spokesperson Steve Dowling told CNN.com. “He is at Apple a few days a week and working from home the other days. We’re glad to have him back.”
Jobs, who is recovering from two major surgeries — one to remove a tumor from his pancreas nearly five years ago, the second a transplant performed two months ago to treat end-stage liver disease — was scheduled to return from a six-month leave of absence before the end of June.

Live from the (relatively sedate) iPhone 3G S launch
The new iPhone — awkwardly named 3G S — went on sale in New York at 7:00 a.m. EDT. This is my live blog of the event from the glass cube of Apple’s (AAPL) Fifth Avenue store, posted in reverse order with the most recent items on top.
8:00 Inside the store, the processing of new customers seems to be proceeding in an orderly fashion. There are scattered problems here and there, but in general it’s a vast improvement over last July, when Apple’s servers crashed under the load.

Nu har den kommit och jag har laddat ner och installerat.

Fungerar bra på ett intuitivt sätt :-)
Internetdelning
Strålande enkelt och mycket bra. En verkligt stor fördel att kunna använda iphonens internetanslutning speciellt för mig som har fastpris.
MMS
Intuitivt och enkelt. En kamerasymbol finns bredvid inmatningsraden i samma gränssnitt som för SMS.
Safari
Snabbare och stabilare. Tycker dock att det är synd att man inte kan spara filer.

Kommer Steve Jobs tillbaka till den 17:e juni?
Enligt apple20.blogs senaste artikel så kan man kan möjligen misstänka att Steva Jobs kanske kommer tillbaka efter sin frånvaro på ca 6 månader lagom till releasen av iphone 3G nya programvara.

Steve Jobs’ health status in 13 words
“We look forward to Steve returning to Apple at the end of June.”
How often have you heard that? A Google search for the exact phrase turns up roughly 400 instances, most of them attributed to Apple (AAPL) spokesman Steve Dowling, who is nothing if not disciplined.
The sentence is a variation on the last line of Steve Jobs’ Jan. 14 memo to his staff, the one in which he announced that he was taking a six-month medical leave to deal with health-related issues. “I look forward,” he wrote, “to seeing all of you this summer.”
The phrase “look forward” is useful, because it gives you deniability if something goes wrong. Dowling incorporated the phrase into his stock answer and has been using the statement — without a word out of place — ever since.
Ask him or any other Apple executive about the health of their CEO and they’ll invariably reply with those same 13 words: “We look forward to Steve returning to Apple at the end of June.”
I mention this because as the end of June approaches, hardly a day goes by without some journalist hearing this sentence and reporting it as news.
The latest example: Mike Harvey, technology correspondent for the London Times. His 675-word story, filed Friday and widely picked up by other news outlets, begins like this:
“Steve Jobs will return to work at Apple at the end of this month, it was confirmed today…”
Nu är det bara 3 dagar kvar till den nya iphoneprogramvaran vilket vi alla "iphonefans" ser fram emot!

Under måndagens WWDC-presentation antyddes att hårdvaran i nya iPhone är betydligt bättre än i den gamla modellen. Nu har T-Mobile i Nederländerna avslöjat hur det egentligen ligger till på den fronten.
Medan iPhone 3G har en processor på 412 megahertz och 128 megabyte minne, så har iPhone 3Gs bestyckats med en processor på 600 megahertz (ARM Cortex A8) samtidigt som minnet har fördubblats till 256 megabyte.
När det gäller grafikkretsarna är det känt sedan tidigare att iPhone 3Gs utrustats med PowerVR SGX, något som indikerar att vi kan förvänta oss riktigt snygg grafik i kommande spel.
Avslutningsvis kan konstateras att konkurrenten Palm Pre använder sig av exakt samma processor och grafikkrets som iPhone 3Gs. Därmed är det upplagt för en intressant jämförelse mellan de båda mobilerna.

Snabbare Iphone lanserad
Här kommer lite uppdaterad informaion om den nya iphone 3G S hämtat från SVD.
Den är dubbelt så snabb som sin föregångare och har bättre kamera. I går kväll lanserade Apple nya Iphonemodellen 3GS.
Utseendemässigt ser den i stort sett ut som den äldre modellen men under den blanka ytan döljer sig en rad nya funktioner och förbättringar.
Iphone 3GS är dubbelt så snabb och är utrustad med en ny kamera med 3 megapixlar och autofokus. Den gör det också möjligt för användaren att spela in en video och ringa och spela upp musik med röstkommandon.
Den nya modellen har också en bättre kompass jämfört med "gamla" Iphone som gör att du kan vrida kartan utifrån hur du håller telefonen.
Men den som är sugen på telefonen tvingas vänta i någon månad - Iphone 3GS släpps i Sverige i juli. Priset blir detsamma som i dag samtidigt som "gamla" Iphone kommer att säljas till en billigare peng, skriver tidningen IDG.
